FIELD COMPANIES
General Service Unit is subdivided into twenty field companies. These companies are named alphabetically from ‘A’ to ‘Y’ company excluding ‘O’, ‘P’ and ‘U’. The companies are situated in different parts of the country. they perform different security functions are the security situation warrants. The companies are second level responders to the prevailing security situations in different parts of the country.
